1.学习八个月好

a.集中学习的知识多:让学生拥有整段的学习时间,能够更系统地学习知识,掌握知识更牢固,不容易遗忘

b.集中学习的兴趣高:让学生更能够沉浸于学习中,排除其他的干扰,专注于学习任务中,从而提高了学习的兴趣

2.三个月的假期好

a.能去远地方旅游:三个月的整段休假时间,时间充足,可以让人到比较远的地方旅游,看到不一样的风景和人文,开阔视野

b.能做长时间的实习:三个月的时间可以让人充分了解和熟悉实习的岗位工作内容,切实提高自己的工作能力,增加工作经验

Greater importance has been attached to education nowadays. Parents hope their children can study more so they can be more competitive. Longer periods of study, however, will not necessarily lead to effective learning. From my perspective, if there can be one-month break after three months of study, children will benefit more from education

We all have some experience of post-vacation blues and understand that a break meant to be relaxing actually can create post-vacation stress. What's worse, the longer the break, the harder it will be for us to resume the regular routine. The first day after a 7-day break is always tiring and tough. If children have a long break of 3 months, they will get used all the fun and exciting activities outside school, thus sitting in the classroom for most of the time during the day can be unbearable.

Second, children have the natural tendency to run, jump, and move around, while school life is mostly sedentary and requires a great deal of concentration. If children need to spend continual 9 months in the school without a break, their nature will be suppressed, thus leading to misbehavior and emotional issues, which is not conducive to effective learning. On the contrary, if children can have chance to play on a regular basis, they will be able to not only develop physical health, but also build healthy habits. Both can help them learn better.

Last but not least, The higher frequency of the breaks can provide opportunities for application of the knowledge to the real world in a timely manner. Students don’t have to wait until the 3-month break that comes at the end of the school year to carry out their practice. What's more, when playing with friends, children learn how to share and how to cooperate. When traveling with parents, children are introduced to new things and broaden their horizons. When spending time doing what they like, children can develop interests. All these activities outside school contribute to better learning in the school in turn. And more breaks let children always have chance to be in touch with the outside world.

Above all, the intervals between school sessions should be decreased in length but increased in frequency. Compared to the one-time break after long periods of study, the benefits of the one-month break after each three-month study lies in that it helps students to bounce back from the vacation to the regular life more easily, it allows children to enjoy their nature and develop healthy habits, and it provides opportunity for children to practice their knowledge and learn more about the real world in a timely manner.

The intense competition in today's society urgespeople to attach more importance to the educationof their children in order to guarantee theprospects of their children. One of their concerns ishow to allocate the time of study and vocation. Some prefer 9-month study and 3-month break, while others favor 3-month study and 1-monthbreak. In my view, the arrangement of more frequent break time is better.

First of all, 3-month study followed by 1-month break can prompt students' academicperformance. Children are such kind of creatures that have a limited amount of patienceand will feel boring after a long period of studying. It can reasonably infer that 9-month studywill definitely diminish their interest in studying, which makes them concentrate less onclass. On the contrary, 3-month study plus 1-month break allows them to rest in a morebalanced way, making them more energetic to face every approaching semester. What’ smore, the frequent breaks can let students reflect more often on what they have learned, introspect what their deficiencies are, and prepare in advance for the knowledge that will comein the next study period.

Second, shorter semester and more frequent break is salutary to students’ mental fitness. As is substantiated by many researches, long period of studying will increase students' senseof anxiety and restlessness. Besides, students today already have much more stress andpressure due to the ever-growing competitive social ambiance. Long studying period canonly aggravate children's mental burden. In contrast, when having a vocation morefrequently, the students can not just relax their bodies, but also their mind, for in the vocationthey can temporarily and moderately drop their study and release their stress. Only with ahealth mental state can children performs well on study.

Finally, such allocation can allow teachers to prepare their lessons and learning materials morecomprehensively. On the one hand, teachers will have more energy and time drawingmaterial from various sources. On the other hand, more intervals of studying mean moreadjusting of teaching methods and contents. So compared with the 9-month teaching, the 3-month teaching can give teachers more times to timely adjust their courses according to thestudents’ performances on class and prepare well in the following resting month.

In conclusion, 3-month study plus 1-month break is a better plan for it can improve students’ academic performance, regulate their mood and allow teachers to adjusts their course moretimely.
