I believe that parents should allow their children to make mistakes.
Firstly, mistake is an important lesson in life for most of the children. Compared to successes, mistakes are actually better lessons since they leave a deeper impression on children. For example, when I was six years old I lied about my test score to my mother and was found out eventually. That was the first time I lied but will also be the last time，because I’ll always remember the painful memory it left on me.
Moreover, children who are always required to be perfect actually bear a huge amount of pressure and burden from their parents. Compared to children growing up in a family where mistakes are allowed, they are more likely to develop mental illness and conflict with parents in future.
