2019年6月29日雅思写作题目：Some people claim that many things children learn at school have actually wasted their time. Other people argue that everything taught at school is useful in the future. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Some people think that not all school subjects are worth the students’ time, yet others insist that everything students learn in school will help them in future.
Of all the school subjects that may be considered as a waste of time, the worst is probably physical education, followed by art and music classes. Even though obesity is an issue, those students who are severely overweight would never actually participate in sports but would rather just sit in boredom. So, when the sports class is mandatory and when students are not naturally athletic, they feel horrible about it and generally regard it as a waste of their precious school time. Likewise, it is argued that schools should not waste time teaching subjects like art or music since there is no special use in knowing how to draw a painting or how to play the violin, unless one has a natural gift for them.
However, the importance of taking PE, art, and music should not be under-estimated. Despite the increasing focus on the core academic subjects like science, mathematics, language, and social studies, it is necessary for schools not to cut programs in PE, art and music, for they contribute a great deal to the enhanced achievement in the core academic subjects as well as the overall health and emotional well-being of young children. For instance, students who have learned to play the violin will know better how to cope with their stress than those who have not. That is why nearly all schools in the world, even those with a tight budget, include PE, art, and music in their curriculum.
To conclude, though the importance of the core subjects can never be overemphasized, other auxiliary subjects such as PE, art, and music are also very useful. What schools should do is to strike a balance between the core subjects and auxiliary ones, and develop their students both academically and psychologically.
Some persons believe that the various subjects taught in educational countries are just a wastage of time. Nevertheless, others argue that education is the key for the all-round development of children.
To begin with, mortals think that teaching all subjects in school is the waste of time because it put a lot of pressure on students by which they cannot grow and develop themselves. Furthermore, they stick with books throughout the day to complete assignments and other homework activities and not able to participate in other sports like activities. Last but not least, all the students are unique and having different interests in subjects but due to compulsion, they have to study all subjects.
On the contrary, other mortals argue that education is the most powerful weapon to change the world. every subject has its own importance and help pupils to escalate their knowledge in each field. Also, if the scholars learn multiple subjects they will get many opportunities to choose their career in future. To illustrate, in my home country India, the school curriculum is vast and the students become doctor, engineer and teachers by taking education about all streams.
In conclusion, my personal perspective is that the all-round development of scholars possible only when the institutions provide them huge knowledge regarding every。
