The experience I am going to tell you is that I learned surfing during the last winter holiday. It is a surface water sport in which the surfer rides on the forward or deep face of a moving wave, which is usually carrying the surfer towards the shore. It normally needs a board for the surfer to lie on their belly or stand up.

It was 3 months ago when I traveled to the Gold Coast in Australia, where the climate is mild and the temperature remains stable throughout the year. This article is from Laokaoya website. It is said to be the surfer’s paradise with waves suitable for both beginners and experts. The moment I arrived at the beach, I bought a surfing board and tried to figure out how to surf.

However, it was not that easy as it looked. I kept falling into the sea and got choked several times. Eventually, I gave up. I found a professional surfer from the training school to teach me. He showed me how to stand on the board and how to use my feet and waist to control the direction. After 20 minutes’ training, I could surf for a while by myself.

I was so excited to ride on the wave, you know, feeling the wind against my face and enjoying the admiration of others on the beach. I really like this sport and enjoy this holiday.
