雅思口语高分范文:
I went to Tasmania from Melbourne a few months ago and I rented a car that time. It was a great experience for me. In fact, I, along with two of my friends, went there to spend our mid-term break. It was a fun experience for us and I would like to thank you for this nice topic. It took around 7 hours for us to reach the downtown of Hobart from my residence in Melbourne. Actually, I could have reached there earlier, but I drove slowly considering the safety on the road. I never crossed the limit of 80 kilometers while I drove the car. Besides, we took a few breaks on the highway which also added one more hour to our total travel time. Boris and Valery accompanied me on the journey. Both of them are my friends at university. I decided to make the journey by car because my friends thought that it would be more fun and comfortable. Besides, air-tickets were expensive and we did not want to spend a large amount of money on our air tickets. I think we took the right decision as it was a great car journey for us. The beautiful road views and the favorite music in the car added a different dimension to our experience. Since it was my first road trip abroad, I felt excited about it even until now.
雅思口语Part3
Do you think cars are a daily necessity?
It depends if we live in a big city or small city. If we live in a big city, the infrastructures are usually good, since people can travel by metro or buses. But if we live in a small city, driving cars may be the most direct and convenient way to transport. So, this depends on the scale of the city.
What will cars look like in the future?
In my perspective, transportation will bring people closer and help us save plenty of time, thus improving efficiency. By the function they have, will be more modernized and maybe can run without human control. There will also be those transportations which can accustomed to different conditions, like air, water, and land. It can be lived in a vessel or a normal car.
Is driving a skill that everybody must learn?
Yes, I do think so. Especially in modern society, driving is becoming more and more important, no matter in the work place or personal life. People need to use cars in their daily life, and self-drive can help save money than hiring a professional driver. So, I think it’s a necessary skill that everyone should acquire.
What are the downsides of having a car?
There are three parts: First, using car will cause air pollution, thus doing harm to our environment. Second, driving is more dangerous than taking subway or bus, thus bringing danger to people’s life. Third, as the number of cars grows, there are more and more traffic congestion caused by that. People’s normal life may be affected by too many cars on the road.
